We will be performing hardware upgrades (RAM) on the server that powers Discord Bot & TeamSpeak Hosting. This requires shutting down the server for a short period of time.
Discord bots and TeamSpeak3 servers will be turned off for 5-10 minutes, and then turned back on. You won't be able to manage your bot/server using AscendPanel during this time.

We will be performing quick networking maintenance on AscendPanel.
Your Discord bots or TeamSpeak3 servers will go down for up to 60 minutes. However, we expect the maintenance to take much less ‒ 20-30 minutes.
You also won't be able to access AscendPanel during this time.
Notice: After the maintenance, IP addresses will change! Use the domain alias (in the format of
xx.nodes.ascend.host) to connect to your TeamSpeak3 server, and not the IP (in the format of157.90.132.xxx).We apologise for any inconveniences this might cause and thank you for your patience.

One of our drives on the ascendhost-de1-new server has died, and thus needs replacing. This requires shutting down the server, which means all AscendPanel services will have to be taken down for a short period of time (<5 minutes).

We will be doing major changes to AscendPanel, which include migrating it to a new server. This requires taking all services down.
The maintenance window will be from 3PM GMT to 5PM GMT. This is the maximum possible time your AscendPanel services will be down ‒ we will try to minimize the downtime, so hopefully, it will be much less.
Any updates will be posted here (https://my.ascend.host/serverstatus.php).

4:58PM GMT: Migration has not yet commenced. The downtime window will be approximately from 5:15PM GMT to 5:45PM GMT. Apologies for the inaccurate prediction.
5:15PM GMT: Migration has finally commenced. Please be patient, and do not do interact with your services on the panel in any way to avoid data loss.
7:20PM GMT: We ran into multiple unexpected issues. The migration is still ongoing. We sincerely apologize.

Please note we've had to bring our network maintenance change window forward at short notice, after detecting an issue with the device. We're really sorry for the interruption this will cause you, and we'll aim to get the device swap completed as quickly as possible.
We are going to be replacing one of our core network switches located in our VPS Cluster's datacenter. This is to implement additional levels of resilience and redundancy for our network in this particular data centre. This will require a complete device power off to occur whilst we conduct these upgrades. This will result in a small amount of service-impacting disruption for a short period of time during the above dates and times, for any customers that have a VPS with us.

It has been noticed that all backup functionality on AscendPanel stopped functioning. Trying to create a backup does not create it; trying to deploy, download or delete it returns an error.
We are currently investigating this issue and will keep you updated here about the resolution of it.
Meanwhile, if you wish to download or restore a past backup, we can still do this manually for you. Just open a ticket.This has now been resolved. Thank you for your patience.

We are aware of the current AscendCloud outage. It is caused by our upstream provider's unplanned network downtime, therefore we cannot do anything about it and will have to wait for the network to go up again. We'll keep you updated here. Apologies about this.

We will be doing urgent updates on node DE-FSN1's router on 02 March 2021 between 2:00 AM and 2:30 AM (GMT).
This node powers our Game, Bot and TeamSpeak3 Hosting, therefore you may experience connectivity issues with your game server, or your Discord Bot may lose connection for a maximum of 30 minutes. You also might not be able to administrate your services via AscendPanel (however the panel itself is not affected and will stay up).
Your server or bot will NOT restart, only lose connectivity.

We have identified a small issue relating to storage array cache on the physical RAID Controller used within one of our VPS host nodes.
